We’ve been working hard on a new DL build - this place is gonna rock your world!
As we continue the process of building our dream retreat space, The Rookery, our team realizes over and over again that the final result is going to be even more incredible (and bigger) than it was in our heads!
From Summer to Fall, The Wilder Group (our killer construction team) has:
Planned all of the utility + structural placement, in conjuction with Tilsley Architect’s design/engineering team
Disassembling The Oriole’s Nest (we were sad to see it go too)
Clearing and excavating the area for the foundation
Working with Geotechnical Engineers to ensure we’re building safely + preserving the beautiful rocky overhang beneath the foundation
Excavating for and pouring the foundation
On Friday, October 4th, we poured eight concrete piers and the entry footings.
We’ve assembling forms for the entry and poured them
So much more to come this winter!
