FAQs

  • Yes! We have a $15 pet fee that goes directly to our cleaners for their extra hard work, but we're proud to offer your furry friend a place to visit with you.

  • Outside of your normal clothing and toiletries, we recommend folks bring:

    - An extra pair of shoes (and slippers to wear in the tent)

    - A reusable water bottle or two

    - A camping stove or kettle to use on the charcoal grill

    - Cooking supplies and charcoal (if you're grilling)

    - Extra firewood

    - A towel, soap, and shower supplies

    - A travel battery pack for your phone(s)

    - Ice for the cooler at the tent

    - A lantern and flashlight

    - Bug spray and sunscreen

    - A good book (and maybe a booklight) to cozy up with

  • Yes! We have electricity in our fully on-grid cabin, as well as The Birdbath (our bathhouse), and soon... the Dappled Light Clubhouse!

  • On-site, we have 50 acres of exploring and hiking around plenty of beautiful natural features (like a waterfall and cliff overhang). We also have a pond, plenty of fire pits, and a bouncy web woven between trees that's great for adults and kids!

Soon, we'll have a community clubhouse that can be used as a work/hangout space around the main camp.

We have a great list of offsite activities HERE as well as some that are mentioned in our blog.

  • Every tent has its own private charcoal grill and fire pit. The cabin has a full kitchen with a large range and fridge to use!

  • You are glamping in the woods! There will be wildlife in the surrounding area, including squirrels, birds, foxes, grouse, deer, turkey, and bobcats. As far as smaller critters, you might come across some bees, ladybugs, mosquitoes, or ticks.

Wear bug spray, keep your eyes open, bring a flashlight (if you're hiking at night), and use common sense - you'll be fine. The fact is, we're a guest in their home - they're usually great hosts if you don't mess with them and, honestly, we don't see many of the larger critters or snakes on our property, because they get very shy around humans!

If you see any wildlife or insects that concern you during your stay, please let us know.

  • Check-in is at 3 pm, which gives our team time to clean the cabin and linens to the fullest extent before you arrive.

We're stoked to offer a later checkout time than most short-term rentals! You can hang out until 12 pm. Wake up slowly and enjoy your morning before making the journey home.

  • Not yet, because we're still a baby business, but we hope to have a selection of basics at some point in 2023 or 2024!
