Glamping just got even more accessible - Dappled Light breaks ground on 5 more unique stays. 

Red River Gorge, KY - May 11, 2023 - The picturesque Red River Gorge (RRG) region is about to become even more appealing and accessible with the launch of 5 new glamping tents at Dappled Light, located minutes from RRG in Zoe, KY. These tents offer a unique blend of luxury and adventure, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area without sacrificing comfort. After this round of builds, the property will have a total of 11 permanent glamping structures that can be rented year round.

"I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new glamping tents in Red River Gorge," says Izaac Rains, one of the founders of Dappled Light. "Our guests will now have the opportunity to experience the beauty of this area in a whole new way; this is just the beginning! Over the next year we’ll be adding more cliffside stays - we’re so excited to share our vision."

Each of the five new tents boasts a unique design, with high-quality furnishings and enough amenities to keep you comfortable as you connect with nature. They offer a gorgeous and cozy retreat after a day spent hiking on Dappled Light’s 50 acres, kayaking, or exploring the surrounding RRG area.

"We've put a lot of thought and care into the design of these tents," says Kevin Rains, Izaac's father and business partner. "We wanted to create an experience that was both luxurious and authentically connected to the natural environment of Daniel Boone National Forest."

The tents are located on 50 acres of privately owned National Forest, providing guests with privacy, tranquility, and breathtaking natural features. The property offers spectacular views of the surrounding forest, waterfalls, and cliffsides, and guests can relax and unwind in the, fully covered, front porch area or around the fire pit.

"We know that our new glamping tents will be a hit with people new to the outdoors and nature lovers alike," says Izaac Rains.
